Before developing my career as a life and executive coach I studied and later worked in interior design and art in London and elsewhere (see my Profile for more information). So I bring a powerful perspective to working with creative people, I can help them see and improve their lives through the lenses of both creativity and coaching.

As an Artist myself I do understand that It can be a devastating experience for an artist to feel they have lost their inspiration or motivation, to stumble upon a creative block. However, torment and suffering from artist’s block does not mean you’ve lost your artistic talent and I am sure it can be overcome.

I have worked with concerns as broad as helping people work in ultra-competitive environments, starting a business, marketing, creative “blocks”, productivity and a range of relationship and personal issues. I understand that creative people have demanding schedules and thus I have become accustomed to working at odd hours and in odd places.

Can creativity be taught? No.

Can one be coached on creativity? Yes.

Creativity may not be able to be taught directly, but what you can get better at is frequently aligning the circumstances of life which foster the greatest chances for true creative expression. Creativity is not like a lightning strike, but more like something which manifests itself inside those who learn to foster it and create the right conditions for it to prosper. This is when a creative coaching comes in hand.
